Coenzym Q 10

CoQ10 is first of all an amazing antioxidant that appears to specialize in cleaning the arteries and keeping them healthy. It also provides the heart muscles with the energy-sourcing fatty acids that promote the healthy pumping of blood; plus it appears to assist in reducing insulin resistance, which is one of the primary triggers for a life-threatening inflammatory condition that you often find at the root of most heart problems.
CoQ10 assists in balancing the cholesterol levels in your body.
The Primal Force Accel CoQ10 also promotes optimal DNA and cell function, which becomes critical with every passing year of our lives. Experiments carried out by the eminent researcher and pioneer in anti-aging studies Dr Mae (Japan) has amply pointed to the vital role this compound has on reversing age-related effects on the body.

The question that we have to ask then is "Why is Primal Force Accel CoQ10 so good? All said and done why should you choose only the Primal Force Accel CoQ10?"

The answer is simple. This is because ordinarily the capacity of the body to absorb CoQ10 is very low. This means that you would need to consume a very high dosage at least about 200 mg if not more to enjoy the best benefits. This would make CoQ10 prohibitively expensive.

Primal Force Accel CoQ10 is engineered to enhance maximum absorption by the body through the use of a substance and form called Ubiquinol.

150 mg of Accel elevates blood levels to almost 4 mcg/ml. You would need 1,200 mg of the traditional form to match that effect. And when you double the dose of Accel to 300 mg – you’d have to take a whopping 2,400 mg of the traditional CoQ10 to equal that power. (Remember: high doses of the traditional CoQ10 are inefficient and very expensive…)

What may be even more critical is how long Accel stays in your body compared to the old form. In one study using mice, the new Accel was present in the blood at a 3.75-fold greater concentration after 8 hours. (A blood level of 4.5 mcg/ml after 8 hours of taking 100 mg.)1

This high concentration staying in your system for 8 hours is one of the keys to its age-defying potential. The same amount of traditional CoQ10 dropped to a low level (just 1.2 mcg/ml) after 8 hours – too low to have a powerful anti-aging effect.

Dr. Peter Langsjoen, a leading CoQ10 scientist and cardiologist based out of Tyler, Texas, has published research comparing effects of ubiquinone (oxidized, spent form) and ubiquinol (antioxidant form) on heart failure patients. The subjects in the study were classified as NYHA Class IV congestive heart failure and on maximal medical therapy. The patients were being administered a mean amount of 450 mg ubiquinone per day. Their blood levels of CoQ10 ranged from 0.9 to 2.0 mcg/mL plasma (mean value of 1.4 mcg/mL), an amount that the researcher considered subtherapeutic. Subjects were then switched over to 450 mg ubiquinol per day, and the follow up data from six of the subjects showed mean blood values of CoQ10 rose from 1.4 mcg/mL to 4.1 mcg/mL. In addition to the significant increase in plasma CoQ10, ejection fraction increased nearly twofold from 24% to 45%. The ejection fraction is a an assessment method that measures the ability of the heart’s ventricles to pump blood. While many factors can impact the ejection fraction including gender and method utilized for calculation, the typical healthy adult exhibits an ejection fraction of 60-65%. Additionally, beneficial effects in heart function could be demonstrated clinically, as subjects had an average improvement from NYHA Class IV to Class II. Based upon the recent clinical experience by Dr. Langsjoen, the therapeutic plasma CoQ10 levels are now considered to be >3.5 μg/ml, which is a significantly higher blood value than the >2.5μg/ml target in the past. In this study, there were no adverse effects of ubiquinone or ubiquinol, nor any drug interaction including patients on coumadin.

It is well established that CoQ10 is not well absorbed into the body, as has been published in many peer-reviewed scientific journals. Since the ubiquinol form has two additional hydrogens, it results in the conversion of two ketone groups into hydroxyl groups on the active portion of the molecule. This causes an increase in the polarity of the CoQ10 molecule and may be a significant factor behind the observed enhanced bioavailability of ubiquinol. Orally, ubiquinol exhibits greater bioavailability than ubiquinone: 150 mg per day of ubiquinol in a softgel resulted in peak blood values of 3.84 mcg/ml within 28
 days.

PQQ

PQQ (Pyrroloquinoline Quinone — also known as methoxatin) is a potent antioxidant that offers several health benefits for the mitochondria found in every human cell. Mitochondria are the descendants of ancient bacteria that live inside of human cells and provide most of their power. Human cells typically contain from 2 to 2500 mitochondria per cell. Cells in high energy usage organs such as the heart, brain, kidney, and liver generally have the largest quantities of mitochondria.00Recent research demonstrates that PQQ helps grow new mitochondria essential to the energy supply in every human cell.

PQQ is synergistic with CoQ10 supplements. Those who are seeking the best results generally will get extra benefit out of combining PQQ with some form of CoQ10 supplement.
